Indictments handed up in three separate shooting cases

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Three people facing charges in separate shooting investigations were indicted this week by a Brazos County grand jury. Kevin Henriquez was arrested following an officer-involved shooting incident in Bryan last month. He was indicted on charges of Aggravated Kidnapping with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant, both are first-degree felony charges. The 23-year-old from Houston is accused of holding his girlfriend at gunpoint at an apartment complex on S. Ennis Street and then firing the gun at a Bryan police officer. The officer returned fire but neither suffered serious injuries. Henriquez remains in the Brazos County Detention Center with bonds totaling $380,000.
