HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — The Houston Police Department ( HPD ) are investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash. This happened around 9:30 p.m. last night in the 6700 block of the Sam Houston feeder road at Bellaire.
Police said a man driving a black Jaguar with a female passenger inside lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole.

The driver was pronounced dead and the woman in the passenger seat remains in stable condition at Ben Taub Hospital . Police are looking to see if alcohol played a role in the crash.
