Houston teen charged with murder in fatal shooting

HOUSTON, Texas – A 17-year-old has been charged with murder following the fatal shooting of a man found at an apartment complex on Office City Drive. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Brayan Rodriguez Baltodano, was discovered unresponsive in a vehicle on October 20. Juan Vasquez, 17, is facing murder charges in the 488th State District Court, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department. Officers responded to a shooting call at 7575 Office City Drive and found Rodriguez Baltodano in the front passenger seat of a vehicle, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Following an investigation, Vasquez was identified as a suspect and was arrested by the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team on November 13. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
