Triple J’s Smokehouse
Triple J’s Smokehouse in Trinity Gardens is first a vibe, and then a BBQ take-out spot. This northeast place almost always has a long line and loud Montell Jordan playlist thumping through its speakers. Head there not to just dance while waiting, but also for their loaded baked potatoes, spicy boudin, and cookout sides. It’s recommended to take your food to go, because everybody else does, or you can just open your to-go box of smoked meats and have a seat at the counter. Then you can dig into some homemade sausage and ribs while you take in Triple J’s Smokehouse’s artwork: hundreds of silly, ironic, and mom-level-joke signage.
