HOUSTON – Authorities are looking into what led up to a woman’s death Sunday night after a neighbor found her body in the middle of a north Houston street. Police said they were called around 9:30 p.m. for a “person down” in McClelland Street and Chase Street off Hardly Toll Road and E Crosstimbers. When they arrived, investigators said the woman, identified only as in her mid-50s, had been shot to death.
