Driver arrested for DWI after causing crash in Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas — A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after causing a vehicle crash in Harris County, authorities said. The incident occurred on January 9, 2025, on the 200 block of the N Sam Houston Parkway East.

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office identified the driver as Joseph Eaglin, who exhibited multiple signs of intoxication, according to a press release from the department. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests confirmed his intoxication, revealing a blood alcohol content of 0.166, more than twice the legal limit.
