Postal Service delivers as Amazon, UPS, FedEx report weather-related disruptions

People awaiting packages Tuesday in the Houston area may have to keep waiting, after Amazon, UPS and FedEx reported service disruptions due to winter weather.

“Our sites in the area are temporarily closed today to keep our employees and delivery partners safe,” an Amazon spokesperson said in an email. “Customers living in areas impacted by the storm can check their Amazon accounts to track their orders and see the latest updates on expected delivery times.”

UPS said in an email to the Houston Chronicle that there would be no deliveries or pickups in most of Houston on Tuesday. A full list of affected ZIP codes is available on the company’s website, which customers can also use to track the status of individual shipments…
