HOUSTON — Heads up to those of you who take the Southwest Freeway through Fort Bend County. There’s an emergency closure that begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday and goes through 5 a.m. Thursday.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, it won’t be a total closure, but three alternating lanes of both the northbound and southbound side of I-69 between University Boulevard and Riverbrook will be shut down.
