A heartbreaking case of animal neglect and cruelty went viral on Friday, March 21, when ThisIsHouston animal rescue organization posted photos of an eight-pound puppy picked up in the area by animal control.
Most people are not aware of the stray overpopulation problem going on in Houston. Tragically, there is no magic formula or secret to rescue, but this dog’s suffering will not be tolerated by these amazing rescuers. Here’s just a bit of Violet’s story; her battle to live is just beginning.
