Fourth suspect charged in fatal Houston shooting

HOUSTON, Texas — A fourth suspect has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man found at 9700 Leawood Boulevard on February 19. Cedric Albert Lewis, 34, is facing murder charges in the 262nd State District Court.

The victim, identified as 34-year-old Terry Meza Jr., was discovered unresponsive by Houston Police Department (HPD) officers at an apartment complex. He was transported to a local hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics, where he was pronounced dead, according to HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Burrow and R. Watson.

Three other individuals have also been charged in relation to the incident. Ubong Esiere, 34, faces murder charges in the 486th State District Court, while Tracy Burleson, 32, is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court.
