The late U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee will have her name attached to Terminal E at Bush Intercontinental Airport after Houston City Council on Wednesday overwhelmingly passed the proposal.
Jackson Lee died in July after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 74 and had represented Houston’s 18th Congressional District for more than 30 years.
