One dead and 14 injured after ‘uninvited party guest’ rains down gunfire near Jack in the Box

One person has died and 14 other injured after an “uninvited guest” turned up to a family party and allegedly started shooting near a Jack in the Box restaurant when they were asked to leave.

The incident happened at around 1am in Cherryhill, Houston, Texas , and police have detained several people who are being questioned about the attack. Officers arrived at the scene early this morning to the sound of gunfire after several members of the public rang the Houston Police department.

Detailing the events of what happened, Assistant Chief Cantu said: “Calls were dropping about the 6000 block of Cherryhill of multiple shootings and multiple injuries.

“Officers arrived at the scene three minutes after the call and as they were arriving they were still hearing gun shots and the scene was still very much active on arrival…
