Katy man who caused Walmart active shooter scare pleads guilty to deadly conduct

A man who caused an active shooter scare at a Katy Walmart earlier this year may avoid prison after pleading guilty to deadly conduct and being sentenced to deferred adjudication.

Armando Soto, 22, of Katy, pleaded guilty to a charge of deadly conduct discharge firearm, according to court records.
