The Texas City Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on FM-517, near Avenue N.
On Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of an unconscious man found on the shoulder of FM-517, close to Avenue N. The man was identified as 66-year-old Glen Davis of San Leon, Texas.
Responding Texas City Police and Fire Department personnel assessed Davis and discovered he had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced deceased upon arrival…
