The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 6700 Hillcroft Avenue in the Sharpstown area at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025.
The identity of the deceased male pedestrian is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Richards and Officer F. Flynn, the driver of a white SUV was traveling southbound at the listed address when the vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk.
