Police looking for suspects after jaws of life used to rob Kingwood ATM, HPD says

HOUSTON — The Houston Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects involved in an early-morning robbery at a convenience store in Kingwood.

According to HPD’s Robbery Division, it happened Jan. 20 at a store located on West Lake Houston Parkway near Mills Branch Drive.

HPD said two masked men entered the store. One suspect confronted the clerk, grabbed her cell phone and threatened to harm her if she did not cooperate. Meanwhile, the second suspect walked over to the store’s ATM, carrying what appeared to be a jaws of life device — typically used by emergency responders to pry open vehicles…
