Houston humidity wanes Wednesday, but dry air won’t last. Here’s when steamy days return

Houston weather provides a rare treat Wednesday, just 10 days out from the start of the Atlantic hurricane season on June 1: low humidity.

The cold front that crossed Southeast Texas on Tuesday has set the stage for a less muggy Wednesday for most of the region farther inland from the immediate coast. While you’d be forgiven for not easily sensing that Wednesday is less hot, at the very least you’ll perceive a drier heat as you step outside.
