MISSOURI CITY, Texas — A Quail Valley homeowner in Missouri City is urging her neighbors to be on the lookout after a surprise visitor showed up in her backyard Wednesday morning—a bobcat.
Judi Carlsson says the encounter happened as she stepped outside her home and noticed her cats refused to follow, something they usually do. Moments later, a group of ducks suddenly flew away from a nearby bird feeder. That’s when she saw the bobcat.
“All of that was forest a few months ago,” Carlsson said, referring to an area near the La Quinta golf course. “So it’s pushing a lot of the animals.”…
