Houston police are searching for a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at 2200 West Bellfort Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, between 18 and 25 years old, with locs hairstyle. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black t-shirt, blue shorts, and carrying a crossbody bag. Surveillance photos of the suspect have been released by investigators.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and H. Martinez, officers with HPD and the Metro Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the location.
