HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred early Sunday morning in the 2200 block of South State Highway 6. The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Ayodeji Abiola.
According to a press release from the Houston Police Department, a white Cadillac CTS and a brown BMW 3 Series were traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when the Cadillac veered onto the right shoulder, striking Mr. Abiola. The driver of the Cadillac did not stop to render aid. A male passenger in the Cadillac was either thrown or jumped from the vehicle while it was in motion and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
