Houston Police Identify Suspect Seth Body-Coles in ATM Robbery, Seek Public’s Help to Locate Accomplices

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to locate a suspect involved in a recent ATM robbery in Houston, Texas. Seth Body-Coles, 23, is wanted for robbery with bodily injury after an incident that took place on the evening last Wednesday, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division. In a report detailed by the official release, a second suspect remains unidentified and at large.

The robbery took place while an ATM technician was servicing a machine on the 8200 block of Broadway. According to police, a maroon sedan pulled up, and a male passenger exited and approached the ATM. The technician struggled with the suspect, who managed to grab an ATM cassette containing money and fled to a vehicle driven by another suspect. Shortly after, a vehicle matching the description of the getaway car was found on the 7900 block of Gleanlea, with money and clothing scattered inside. It appears the suspects then switched vehicles and left in a white sedan driven by an unidentified third person.

Investigators, examining evidence found at the second scene, discovered bond paperwork in the abandoned clothing bearing the name Seth Body-Coles. After comparing this name with surveillance footage from the robbery, detectives concluded it was likely that they had identified one of the suspects.
