Company moves manufacturing facility from Illinois to Houston, eyes expansion in local industries

HOUSTON — Saunders, a division of California-based R.S. Hughes, has relocated one of its two manufacturing facilities from Illinois to the Houston area.

The 17,800-square-foot converting facility — which focuses on turning raw materials like foam, films and tape into products for other manufacturing processes — is located at 14639 Fallbrook Drive, in a suite adjacent to R.S. Hughes’ existing facility in the Cypress area.

R.S. Hughes is a tenant in the first phase of Weiser Business Park, which was delivered in December 2022 after Dallas-based developer Trammell Crow Co. and New York-based Clarion Partners bought the 102-acre former Weiser Airpark in 2019.
