Second suspect arrested in Third Ward fatal shooting

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A second suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting two months ago that led to lockdowns at several Houston schools.

Abraham Jackson, 31, faces a murder charge for the shooting on Rosewood in the Third Ward. According to court records, Jackson is accused of shooting and killing a victim who was found dead in the driver’s seat of a car. Police reported that two individuals were seen fleeing the scene, prompting heightened security at Texas Southern University and three HISD schools.
