Trucker’s dog found 40 miles from Houston truck stop where he was lost, trapped between cab and fuel tank of another semi truck

A Texas sheriff helped to rescue a stuck dog that went missing from his trucker owner from a Houston truck stop.

According to a June 17 news release, the Waller County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Animal Control unit was called in assist at a Love’s truck stop at Highway 290 and FM 1884 in Hempstead, Texas, on June 6.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found “a black dog trapped between the cab and fuel tank of an 18 wheeler.”
