HOUSTON (KIAH) — Prosecutors said a 19-year-old charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash tried to leave Texas hours after it happened.
Noah Rodriguez was in court this week and that’s where officials said he allegedly booked a flight to Miami right after hitting two teenage girls who were riding their bicycles. One of the girls died, and the other was left seriously injured.
Rodriguez is still in custody as the investigation continues. Prosecutors are using the his attempt to fly away in the case, as evidence of possible intent to flee the state to avoid arrest…
