A wreck in Texas created quite the spectacle as empty beer cans went flying through the air. A driver of a pickup truck was probably intoxicated as he struck a police SUV. But now the man might time to sober up behind bars.
Texas man hits Police SUV with truck and beer cans fall into street
Two police officers in Houston, Texas were having a routine shift until their day took a turn, landing them in the hospital. They were heading southbound in their Police SUV on North Wayside Drive around 12:30 PM when they were suddenly hit by a truck.
According to Click 2 Houston, the driver was leaving a stop sign from Joy Street and caused a collision. The impact was so strong that the police car landed up on the sidewalk. The pickup landed in the southbound lanes.
Also, the roadway was littered with several empty beer cans that fell out of the truck. Reportedly, the driver threw cans out the window as well. Everyone involved was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries…
