Houston Man Charged with Murder in Westheimer Road Fatal Shooting

Authorities have made an arrest in the case of a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this month at 5015 Westheimer Road. The Houston Police Department has charged 23-year-old Marko Cinan with murder, as reported by City of Houston News. The fatal incident, which took place on the afternoon of June 3, resulted in the death of 30-year-old Anthony Sanders.

Investigators from the HPD Homicide Division, including Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks, indicate that officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting within a parking garage. Upon arrival, they discovered a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Houston Fire Department paramedics rushed Mr. Sanders to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. In connection with the incident, a black Chrysler 300 showing signs of gunfire damage fled the scene but was located shortly after, with three males detained and then released.

Following an extensive investigation, Marko Cinan was identified as the suspect and subsequently charged with the murder of Sanders. The arrest was executed by officers with HPD’s Narcotics Tactical Team on Wednesday, and Cinan has since been booked into the Harris County Jail.
