Dry ice storage mistake results in two tragic deaths in River Oaks

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Over the weekend, a man and a woman were killed in River Oaks by the effect of dry ice. At the time, they were at a home on Avalon Place.

According to reports, the incident was caused by improper storage of dry ice. It looks like the dry ice was stored in 4- or 5-gallon buckets, and the people at the house were overcome by the gas.
