A Houston man was arrested and charged Tuesday in the May shooting death of a motorist along the Southwest Freeway, according to the Houston Police Department.
Alexis Garcia, 20, is charged with murder in the May 29 death of Noel Venero Lopez, 55, Houston police announced in a Thursday news release. Garcia allegedly shot Lopez after attempting to carjack him near the 11700 block of the Southwest Freeway.
