More than 1,300 immigrants arrested in Houston in just one month, ICE says

HOUSTON — New figures released this morning reveal that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested over 1,300 immigrants in the Houston area in June alone.

According to ICE, 1,361 people living in the Houston region were taken into custody last month after allegedly entering the U.S. illegally.

ICE says many of those arrested either have prior criminal charges or past convictions…
