Second man charged federally in Katy McDonald’s shooting that killed grandfather buying Happy Meals

A second man was arrested and charged with a federal gun crime in connection with the March shooting death of a 61-year-old man police said was buying Happy Meals for his grandchildren at a Katy-area McDonald’s.

Tyler Jordan was charged with two felonies related to the possession of an unregistered machine gun, according to federal court records. He was arrested Tuesday in Katy.
