Three Houston Men Charged in Friendswood Burglary Attempt

FRIENDSWOOD — Friendswood police detained three men early Friday morning following a burglary at a business in the 1500 block of W. Parkwood Avenue.

According to the Friendswood Police Department, officers responded at 12:46 a.m. on August 1 to a report of a burglary in progress. Within two minutes, officers arrived and spotted a Ford sedan with a paper license plate and a Lincoln sedan leaving the area.

Both vehicles were stopped. Police say the passenger in the Lincoln attempted to run and jumped off the Chigger Creek Bridge. While officers were giving medical aid, the man reportedly spit on them. He was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition…
