Tragedy struck on Independence Day when Houston police discovered a critically injured man at 1000 Wirt Road, leading to an ongoing investigation into what has now become a case of fatal assault. The incident was reported at approximately 11:25 a.m. on July 4, turned grave when the victim, identified as 59-year-old Trinidad Garcia, succumbed to his injuries a week later in the hospital, pronounced deceased on July 11.
