HOUSTON – With school’s starting class at Houston ISD on Tuesday, many students will be using a different method of transportation to get to and from school this year.
Houston ISD has partnered with METRO, the city’s public transportation agency, to provide students in grades nine through 12 who live more than two miles from their zoned campus or are enrolled in a magnet program free rides to school.
