League City Traffic Stop Results in Two Arrests, 12.7 Grams of Meth

LEAGUE CITY – A League City traffic stop ended with two people behind bars after police say they found more than a dozen grams of methamphetamine inside an SUV.

It happened around 10:30 Tuesday morning in the 200 block of Oakwood Street. Officers say they pulled over a tan Toyota RAV4 and identified the driver as 36-year-old John Fuerst, who had multiple active warrants, including one out of Brazoria County.

A press release said the passenger, 40-year-old Amber Conner, was acting suspicious, prompting a K9 search. Officer Jones deployed K9 Donna, who alerted to drugs in the vehicle. A search turned up multiple baggies containing 12.7 grams of suspected meth and drug paraphernalia…
