Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that left one man dead on Tuesday afternoon in Houston. According to the City of Houston news release, the incident transpired at approximately 4:35 p.m. at 7613 Boone Road.
Charged with capital murder, evading arrest, and tampering with evidence, Colby Tyler, 25, now faces serious legal consequences. The pursuit to bring Tyler into custody was not void of drama, as he allegedly tried to quickly flee the scene ensuing a vehicular crash during a traffic stop initiated by Houston police. The identity of the 65-year-old victim is currently withheld, awaiting family notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
