Wastewater line issue causes hole in middle of busy southwest Houston road

According to Houston Public Works, a hole in the street along 453 East Anderson Road was caused by an issue with an underground wastewater line.

“We got a significant safety hazard here and not getting any better,” Stewart White, vice president of Economy Polymers and Chemicals nearby. His company relies heavily on trucks and other vehicles to deliver products.

“We have to around a different route. You can see them coming in from the other direction, which there’s a lot of residential down there. We try to keep truck traffic out of there and we just aren’t able to do that anymore,” White said…
