More than seven years after a fatal shooting in Houston, police have made an arrest. Jeremiah Bryant, 39, has been charged in the 2018 killing of Michael Lawson, 46, who was shot while walking with his son on Clarke Springs. The Houston Police Department said the shooting happened early on August 15, 2018, and Lawson was pronounced dead at the scene. Bryant was arrested on Thursday.
At about 1:05 a.m., Michael Lawson and his son were walking to a store when shots were fired from a brown or burgundy four-door vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry.
