HOUSTON, Texas—A Houston man accused of a 2011 murder has been successfully extradited from El Salvador, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office announced on August 15.
Louis Armando Rojas, 38, is charged with murder—a first-degree felony—in the death of his ex-girlfriend’s husband in West Harris County. According to the indictment, the murder occurred in 2011 after a domestic dispute. A murder charge was filed on January 1, 2012.
In 2017, law enforcement learned that Rojas was promoting himself as a mixed martial arts fighter in El Salvador, which led to an INTERPOL Red Notice.
