Shooting victim and dead teen’s father deliver powerful statements after gunman pleads guilty

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — A Friendswood teen will spend decades in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to the 2023 murder of one friend and the aggravated assault of another.

As part of a plea deal, the Galveston County judge sentenced Connor Hilton, 18, to 50 years in prison for the murder charge. She added 20 years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
