Walmart employee charged with shooting woman was ‘too combative’ to appear in court, judge says

HOUSTON — A young woman arrested Thursday after a shooting at a Walmart along the Sam Houston Tollway was scheduled to face a judge on Friday, but it didn’t happen. The judge said 22-year-old Breshaun Manuel was “too combative” to appear in court.

Manuel’s bond was set at $40,000.

She’s charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators said the Walmart employee shot a woman at least twice while fighting with her and two other women inside the store.
