Houston police link three shootings to one violent feud

HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating a string of three shootings in southeast Houston that happened over just two days. Officers say all of the incidents are connected and stem from retaliation.

The most recent violence unfolded Monday night. Houston police responded to a shooting at the corner of Northdale Avenue and West Bellfort, where a man was found shot in a parking lot. Moments later, officers say they heard additional gunfire coming from a house just three blocks away on Belmark Street. Another man was found shot at that location.

According to investigators, two suspects shot the first man in the parking lot. A friend of that victim then went to the house on Belmark and exchanged gunfire with the same suspects, shooting one of them…
