HOUSTON — Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting late Thursday in northeast Houston.
A couple was ambushed near their home around 10:30 p.m. while sitting inside their vehicle on Darlington Drive near Denton Street.
“A husband and wife were sitting in their vehicle in the driveway. At some point, the suspect vehicle drove up and started shooting multiple rounds into their vehicle,” Lt. A. Ali said at the scene. “The wife became very frantic at that point and started to attempt to drive him to the hospital.”…
