A tragic discovery has shaken the University of Houstoncommunity after 20-year-old junior Jade “Sage” McKissic was founddead just days after she was reported missing.
McKissic, a Strategic Communications and Advertising major, was last seen on Sept. 11 at LA Burgers and Daiquiris near campus.
On Monday, Sept. 15, her body was discovered in a body of water at 4998 Spur 5, according to Houston Police Department spokesman Shay Awosiyan.
Officials with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences formally identified her on Thursday, Sept. 18. A cause of death has not yet been released, and police say the investigationremains ongoing…
