Early Monday morning in north Houston’s Greenspoint area, a 53-year-old woman in a wheelchair was hit and killed at the intersection of Greenspoint Drive and North Sam Houston Parkway East. The driver left the scene but stopped about a third of a mile away and waited “an extensive period of time” before calling 911 and returning, as reported by KHOU.
