Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has made Houston his second home, making deals and attending Texans’ games since he relocated in 2021. The former rap star turned mogul has also invested in the television and film industry for some years, and now he has gotten the green light to establish his own $50 million entertainment district in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The Shreveport City Council approved the Houston resident’s proposals to establish the Film and Entertainment Gateway Economic Development District earlier this week, according to KTBS. The downtown area will be transformed into a center for entertainment and production for Jackson’s production company, G-Unit Films and Television Inc.
