‘You left me for dead’ | Brazoria County man seeks answers after motorcycle crash

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — A Brazoria County man is recovering after he said he was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash while riding his motorcycle nearly a week ago.

Maurico Hairston, a Houston firefighter and EMT, said the crash happened around 1 a.m. Sunday on Highway 6, east of Savannah Parkway. He said he was riding home from a car show when a vehicle struck his front wheel and knocked him off his motorcycle.
