HOUSTON, Texas — A 46-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in April 2021, according to Houston police. Shannon Washington, currently in custody on an unrelated charge, is accused of killing 28-year-old Dave Stephens.
The incident took place at 2900 South Gessner Road around 3:40 a.m. on April 18, 2021. Stephens and his girlfriend had just arrived at their apartment complex when Stephens was shot while parking their vehicle, a white Nissan Rogue.
