Wheelchair Bound Woman Hit and Killed by Driver

1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of a person down
2. Arriving units located a wheelchair bound female down in the roadway
3. Female was pronounced deceased at scene by HFD
4. As VCD units were pulling up to the scene, the driver walked up to the scene on the phone with 911
5. DRE/ DWI units are conducting field sobriety tests and Hit&Run is on scene investigating
6. At present, it has not been determined who is at fault; Unknown who had the green light, and officers are working to determine how long it took the driver to contact 911 for the injured female.
