Houston Police Nab Two 23-Year-Olds Charged in Violent Robbery Spree

Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of robberies in Houston. The suspects, identified as 23-year-olds Breon Twine and Larry Wiley, face charges of robbery with bodily injury and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

According to the Houston Police Robbery Division, the first incident occurred on August 23, around 9:50 p.m., when a woman was assaulted and robbed of her purse in a parking lot in the 4700 block of Beechnut. On August 25, another victim was robbed in the same area and dragged by a gold Toyota Camry driven by the suspects. Detectives released surveillance video, and tips submitted to Crime Stoppers helped identify Twine and Wiley.
